Zulhafiza Bte Zulkifle, Norazua Bt Abdul Rahman, FARAH IDAYU BINTI RAZALI; Teaching Evaluation As A Tool To Improve The Quality Of Instructions; Teaching And Learning Symsosium 2014; The study aims on students’ feedback, determine the utility of students’ rating as a lecturer evaluation tool and measure effectiveness of teaching using students’ evaluation of lecturers’ performance at the end of the semester. Teaching evaluation process can be considered as perception of human being or main perceptions of persons in teaching process. A research was conducted by using 5 point of Likert scale survey questionnaire on 21 students for a technical subject class at Kolej Komuniti Bandar Darulaman They were required to rate for 4 lecturer based on learning period for one semester at the end of semester. The result was analysed by using SPSS 15 to calculate mean and standard deviation for lecturers individually.Based on the mean and standard deviation each of the lecturer on the effectiveness of their teaching, percentage of responses were 82.8% for lecturer I, lecturer II 76.5% , lecturer III 63.5% and 86.3% for lecturer IV. The result can be used as a measurement tool in order to help the lecturer for improving their weaknesses and determine their strength. Furthermore, student rating can be used as an evaluating method and indicator for lecturer to identify their teaching skill to help students to understand and perform better in their study. ; 27 Aug 2014; Other; None
