GUIDANCE & COUNSELLING

Independent, impartial and professional counselling is available to all Universiti Tenaga Nasional students. This support is confidential, enabling you to discuss any problems you may have.

The guidance and counselling service offers impartial and confidential counselling that is helpful for a range of feelings and issues, including:

  • anxiety
  • sadness
  • loneliness/isolation
  • exam anxiety
  • physical or emotional abuse
  • relationship problems
  • depression
  • stress
  • feeling a need to make important changes in life

These feelings can be caused by a wide range of situations, like the death of a loved one, not getting on with a family member or problems in education.

You may feel that you would prefer not to speak to family or friends for a range of reasons perhaps so as not to burden them, to get a different perspective or to have a space where you do not need to worry about the other persons reaction.
