Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Summer Semester 2025

Greetings from Mainz.

We are looking forward to continuing our cooperation on student exchange level and looking forward to welcoming UNITEN students at Mainz in the coming summer semester 2025. We look forward to receiving nominations and applications.

The summer semester 2025 will start with the induction week from March 17th, 2025, and will be finished July 15th, 2025 (exceptions possible). A brief overview about the application procedure can be found below.

An updated Handbook with details on living and studying in Mainz, as well as updated module descriptions will be available in the middle of October. Until then, you may refer to the old ones. However, the courses offered in the summer semester 2024 will be similar, about 90 % of the courses will remain in summer 2025. Please wait with the course choice and finish your Learning Agreement after you have got the current course descriptions (deadline for Learning Agreements will be mid of December)

The application procedure is simple:

  • Nomination by the home university (by email)
  • Apply on-line: http://hs-mz.de/onlineexchangeapplication Important! Please write your name as in your passport!
  • Register with Mobility On-Line (after you have applied on-line, you will receive a registration email – if you can’t find it, please check your spam folder).
  • Upload the requested documents (CV, motivation, transcript... red checkboxes indicate mandatory uploads and are necessary to proceed)
  • Generate a pdf of the application form (clicking on that link in the form, will create a pdf).
  • Upload the filled-in pdf-application form to Mobility Online
    after the deadline, the International Office of HS Mainz, will formally check your application and send out the acceptance letters
  • Then you can proceed with the learning agreement
  • Read the info sheet on the learning agreement carefully, fill-in and sign the learning agreement (for courses please refer to the module descriptions in the download sections)

· Erasmus+ students, please contact your coordinator regarding the digital EWP-learning agreement

· NON-EU- students, please download the blank learning agreement in Mobility Online and fill it in

  • Have the learning agreement signed (or electronically confirmed) by your home coordinator
  • Upload your learning agreement or confirm that you have provided a digital learning agreement

The online application will be available from today until November 15th, 2024 (Deadline). Learning Agreement can be done and/or uploaded until 15th of December 2024. Acceptance letters will be sent out immediately after the deadline. In case you need an early acceptance for visa reasons, please hand in your nomination/application asap and inform us by email.

The application for Asian Youth Leaders Elite Program 2025 (Winter Term) is now open.
Asian Youth Leaders Elite Program (AYLEP) is a window for youth to explore the world, a bridge for youth to connect with each other, a platform for youth to gain fulfilling and amazing experiences from Asia to worldwide. AYLEP has benefited 22781 participants from 85 countries in the past 17 years. Each university can recommend 6 students. And scholarships will be provided to those outstanding students if they are selected.

Hochschule Offenburg exchange student nominations for 2025 summer semester (March-July 2025)

We are pleased to inform you that Hochschule Offenburg is now accepting exchange student nominations for the upcoming 2025 summer semester (March–July 2025).

UNITEN will be nominating interested students, and if you'd like to be considered, please fill out the nomination form. The nomination period will close on 10th October 2024. Selection will be based on your current CGPA and active participation in extracurricular activities.

Please find attached the three flyers detailing new course offerings for bachelor-level students in Media, Mechanical Engineering, and Business. You may also refer to these attachments for additional details.

Key Highlights:

Exchange students can choose lectures from other study programs and departments, including elective courses from Master’s programs.

Bachelor’s programs are primarily taught in German, while international Master’s programs are conducted entirely in English. For more information, please refer to the fact sheet or the course catalogue:

Please note that exchange students for the 2025 summer semester will participate in an Orientation Week in early March, prior to the start of lectures. During the semester, German language classes and a course on “German Culture and Society” will also be available.

Upon arrival, student buddies will assist you with accommodation arrangements and help you navigate any bureaucratic procedures during your first days in Offenburg.
